To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Fuji!

Fuji is a happy, healthy, smiley, 1-year-old boy who is full grown at 32 pounds. Yes, he is one good looking little dude, but his personality and his heart are what make him so special.

This good-natured boy wouldn’t hurt a fly. He just wants to make friends and find an amazing home of his own. Fuji doesn’t discriminate among species—he is completely happy with humans, dogs, or cats. He is goofy, playful, smart, and aiming to please. Fuji loves to give kisses, is very treat motivated, and only barks when he’s playing with other dogs. He is all love...no negativity.

Adopters of his siblings had a DNA test done which showed them to be a combination of shepherd, golden retriever, pitbull, chihuahua, and cocker spaniel—what we lovingly call a baja mutt!

Fuji is an amazing combination of cuddle bug and exercise partner, so if you love the outdoors, Fuji is your guy. He is 100% ready to enjoy all that the world has to offer and would love to be your companion to explore the world. Fuji will happily join you on a walk, run, or hike, followed by a major chill session at home or a dog-friendly social establishment.

If Fuji sounds amazing, that’s because he is! He has a very happy, energetic, outgoing personality. And if that’s not enough, he is house, crate, and potty trained.

We are looking for a family who will not only love him, but also keep him sane. So if Fuji sounds like the right dog for you, please submit an adoption application. You won’t be disappointed with this precious boy!

If you are not ready to adopt, but can foster Fui who already has so much training and stability, that works too! You can meet and foster him so his current foster parents can help other dogs in need who need foster homes. Please submit a foster application at www.arwob.org if you have no intent to adopt, but can help foster him.
