To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

We not only provide you with everything you need to take care of one of our rescues, but the experience is SO fulfilling. By placing one animal into a foster home, you allow us to save another. We are always in need of foster parents.

Looking to meet some of rescue dogs who are available to foster or adopt? Join us by signing up to be a handler for this fun outing and you can choose whom you spend the outing with or better jet rotate dogs to spend time with them. If you'd like to join the pack as a handler/volunteer please contact ARWOB at 619 977 3593 BEFORE Friday 6pm. If you'd like to just stop by and meet the dogs without joining the outting that is great too! From 10:30-11am the dogs will be on site just socializing with volunteers and its the perfect to meet the dogs attending. Check the animal attendace list to know who will be attending. You do NOT need to submit applications online prior to stopping by, just drive down and say hi! You are welcome to bring your family and family dogs to meet as well (as long as dog friendly) Find us at Mission Bay (2195 East Mission Bay Drive parking)

Looking for a fun Saturday morning class? How about puppy yoga! You can just stop by at 12:15pm or 1:30Pm when the classes are done to say hi and meet the attendees in person inside the studio. Look for one of our ARWOB volunteers for assistance. We highly recommend you text Alondra at 619 977 3593 if you are planning on driving down or are on site and need assitance, especially to not miss these cuties before they leave for the day shortly after the last class is done at 1:30pm (we are more than happy to stick around if you are driving down and let us know)
