Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Meet our "Diamonds in the Rough"!

These amazing little guys were dropped off at the San Diego shelter in mid April. They were flea, tick, and skin mite infested. They had sarcoptic mange, a contagious disease to both dogs and people, and, because they were just under 2 months of age and the time it would take to heal and recover from their condition, they were in danger unless a rescue took them on. ARWOB took them and had them boarded for 5 weeks while they were quarantined and treated. You can see before and after pictures.

Our little guys were these diamonds just hiding under all their rough exterior at such a young age and having to battle so many parasites. There are 4 girls and 1 boy. Princess, Oval, Emerald, Marquise and Asscher are all adorable shepherd/aussie and some sort of little terrier mix. As of 5/28, they are between 6- 10 pounds and almost 3 months old, so we expect them to be in the 30-40 pound range.

Marquise is between Emerald and Princess in size and most likely will weigh between 35-40 pounds at the most when she is full grown. She is a good puppy and is crate trained and gets along well with dogs, cats, and people. She has quite a bit of puppy energy and will need her adopter to take her through obedience training.
