Meet little Shortstop !
The following is a quick bullet point on this rescue, please read the complete biography to know ALL we know about this wonderful rescue dog while under our care:

- Nervous during initial meetings. Warms up quickly.
- Fostered in home with children.
- Excellent with cats and dogs.
- Crate trained
- Energy level medium (Typical puppy energy)
- Adopter must have conducive work schedule for puppy training
UPDATE 5/22/23:
Shortstop and her sister Shortstack were abandoned in a carton box at the front door of a fellow rescuer in Ensenada Mexico back in late March when they were only a couple of months old. They are now fully vaccinated and quarantined finished. They are a little attached to each other and a bit shy when first meeting new people/being in new environments BUT as of today they are in different foster homes to help them come out of their shell.
Shortstop is in a foster home in san diego with a family with young children and several other dogs. She is a typical energetic sweetie who is a SUPER MUTT! unlikely has any corgi in her but does look like one being a low rider and fairly stocky little thing. We think she is likely a small and large breed mix making her an adorable pup. If you are looking for a sturdy medium breed pup you've found your girl! She is now 4mo and almost 18 pounds so we think she will be a good 30-45 pound medium dog when full grown.
