Meet Bonita and Flora!
These beautiful sisters are fostered together in a home with a family (parents and teens as well as adult cats), but like all young kittens, we know they will adjust easily to a home with other pets, if any. They are extremely social, loving and active, so they should also do well with kids.
Ideally, they would be adopted together, BUT applicants could mix and match a friend to adopt together BUT the important factor to adopt kittens is that kittens are adopted either with a sibling, a friend, or into a home with other feline friends.
Would you like to meet and possibly adopt these cuties?
First, submit a cat adoption application online for review.
A volunteer will call you to finish processing your application and, if approved to adopt, we can schedule an actual meet and greet to interact with these kittos at our cat adoption center located at the PetSmart in Clairemont where the foster parent will bring them for you to meet.
Meet and greets can happen pretty quickly as long as applicants can gather all the items from our adoption check list and have them ready. ARWOB does NOT place HOLDS on rescues, so please, only submit an application to adopt if you are READY to adopt within 2-7 days of submitting the application. Typically, the same day of meet and greet (assuming interaction goes well) is the same day of adoption to avoid multiple meetings.
IF a team member doesn't contact you within 72hrs of submitting an application, please follow up with us via email or phone call, otherwise, it may be overseen.
NOTE - These Kitts have a sterilization appointment on 6/25/21 in the North Park area 92103 which means Adopters would need to be in town that day. PLEASE CHECK YOUR CALENDAR BEFORE SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION AS THESE APPOINTMENTS ARE NOT to be canceled or rescheduled. Their surgery day is SET. Adopter would need to be able to drop off and pick up these kitten(s) at the Vet clinic. Surgery is OF COURSE included with the adoption fee.
During the phone interview for adoption approval, we can explain the process in better detail, but applicants should know if adopting these kitties, they need to be in town 6/25/21 to attend this vet surgery appointment.

Meet Bonita and Flora,
Despite their differing appearances, the two siblings are cut from the same cloth in many ways. Both are friendly, energetic, and will be a welcome addition to anybody's home. They are curious and loyal and will often follow along with others, and they are no strangers to other pets and will attempt to play along with them if they so choose to.
Flora, the darker of the two, is the more relaxed and laid back of the two. If you need comfort or just want to cuddle while sitting on the family couch you can count on her to appear besides you. Once she warms up to you, she won't mind being petted and pampered, no matter how long.
Bonita, unlike her sister, is much more energetic. She is able to play and have fun with others, and is often more athletic and curious in the world around her. That being said, she is just as equally affectionate as her sister Flora. She will approach and enjoy being petted and treated just the same, and can be a source of love all the same.
