Meet Bes’ 4 babies!
UPDATE 2-10-22:
Romeo is such a handsome little dude that loves to take it easy. He is calm and cuddly most of the time. He plays with his furry best friends but his real favorite thing to do is cuddle on the couch with my kids. He takes his naps very seriously. He loves everybody and is more cautious when meeting new people. This handsome boy will make any family feel lucky to have him be a part of it. One look into Romeos puppy eyes and you will fall in love.
The girls: Rose and Candy (2 little blondies)
The boys: Romeo and Bandit (2 brown/black hotties)
These pups are approximately 3 months old and 11 pounds each. They are very similar in size and looks. The girls just happen to be the same color and boys also look alike. The boys resemble their mom's coloring the most. Mama Bes is a scruffy terrier mix, who is approximately 30 pounds and we think her babies probably have a mix of shepherd, lab, spaniel, and/or terrier in their DNA. They will likely reach the 30-40 pound range when full grown.
Like all puppies we are looking for an adopter with time on their hands who is ready for puppy shenanigans, dog training, house and potty training. Currently the pups are learning to be crate trained. The ideal adopter will have another dog in the home, as they are used to being around several dogs in their foster home and are very social. However, if the adopter does not have a dog, they must be willing to take the pup to dog parks, doggy day care, or allow them regular interactions with other dogs so that they will be happy and have their needs met. After all, puppies are social beings!
Bandit and Romeo have already been neutered, but the girls Rose and Candy have a spay appointment on 2/21/2022 in the North Park area (92104) of San Diego. The sterilization surgery is already included in their adoption fee. This means priority will given to local area applicants for the girls. This will ensure the adopter is able to take them to the pre-scheduled surgery appointment and then pick them up at the end of the day after surgery. Please do NOT submit an application for the girls if you do not live in the San Diego area. If you would like to adopt and live outside of San Diego area, you are welcome to wait until their sterilization surgery has been completed to see if they are still available at that time (please note that we do not place holds on any of our rescues). As for Bandit and Romeo, given they have already been sterilized, we can accept adoption applications outside of the San Diego area (within a reasonable driving distance), however priority will be given to local area applicants. Of course, we will try to find the perfect match for these pups.
If you are interested in meeting one of these cuties, please complete an online adoption application TODAY. They are currently in a foster home in the 92117 area and they are ready to meet you!
