Meet Bandit!
UPDATE 3-8-22: Here is what Bandit's foster family has to say:
Bandit is such a loving, silly boy who loves to explore and is very curious. He is so social with people, but a little cautious when meeting new furry friends. He loves to play with his sister and wrestle. He loves to steal things when you drop them, hence the name Bandit. Get it? Haha. He will also steal your heart because he is so darn cute and cuddly. Bandit sleeps all night and is crate trained. He knows how to sit and tries really hard to use his manners all the time. He truely is such a sweet puppy that would fit in well with any family that will love him as much as he loves you.
ORIGINAL RESCUE STORY:
These pups are approximately 3 months old and 11 pounds each. They are very similar in size and looks. The girls just happen to be the same color and boys also look alike. The boys resemble their mom's coloring the most. Mama Bes is a scruffy terrier mix, who is approximately 30 pounds and we think her babies probably have a mix of shepherd, lab, spaniel, and/or terrier in their DNA. They will likely reach the 30-40 pound range when full grown.
Like all puppies we are looking for an adopter with time on their hands who is ready for puppy shenanigans, dog training, house and potty training. Currently the pups are learning to be crate trained. The ideal adopter will have another dog in the home, as they are used to being around several dogs in their foster home and are very social. However, if the adopter does not have a dog, they must be willing to take the pup to dog parks, doggy day care, or allow them regular interactions with other dogs so that they will be happy and have their needs met. After all, puppies are social beings!
If you are interested in meeting one of these cuties, please complete an online adoption application TODAY. They are currently in a foster home in the 92117 area and they are ready to meet you!
