Meet Cleo's crew!
The "The Big Meowski"!
You have Jeffrey, Donny, Walter and, of course, 'the Jesus'. These 4 handsome brothers are pretty identical as orange tabbies and all have amazing, well socialized personalities. The goal here is to adopt them in pairs if possible. The 4 are Cleo's babies and she is a gorgeous Torbie (brown tabby/calico), super sweet mama cat who was rescued along with her crew from the streets of Tijuana in late April. Momma and kittens have been in San Diego in foster homes since the end of May.
Cleo is fostered in a home with a young couple and a small breed dog, she tolerates the little dog but Cleo says, im a people pleaser so "eh" to the other creatures. Cleo would be great with kids too and we aren't sure of other cats but likely.
The Meowski boys however, are all fostered together in a home with both large and small breed dogs and many adult cats. They are very social and playful socialites who are lucky to be in a great loving foster home. The 2 smallest boys, Jeffrey and Donny, came in with a little alopecia (thin coats/loss of hair) likely from flea allergy since they were the most malnourished of the 4. The bigger bros, Walter and the Jesus, we're the strongest with perfect coats like their mama. SO, adopters, please be aware Jeffrey and Donny have been under medical treatment with special medicated baths and meds, but realistically, the hair will take a little longer to grow back so if that is not a determining factor (you can sort of see it on their neck and little paws of their pictures to get a better idea) for you to adopt them then PLEASE do ask about these handsome little
fellas.......
Foster Update 6/12:
The Jesus: He is the first to get to the toys and is very scrappy. He grabs a goy in his mouth in order to get his brothers engaged in a game of chase! He seeks out love and attention from his human companions.
Would you like to meet and possibly adopt these cuties? First, submit a cat adoption application online for review. A volunteer will call you to finish processing your application and, if approved to adopt, we can schedule an actual meet and greet to interact with these kittos at our cat adoption center located at the PetSmart in Clairemont where the foster parent will bring them for you to meet.
Meet and greets can happen pretty quickly as long as applicants can gather all the items from our adoption check list and have them ready. ARWOB does NOT place HOLDS on rescues, so please, only submit an application to adopt if you are READY to adopt within 2-7 days of submitting the application. Typically, the same day of meet and greet (assuming interaction goes well) is the same day of adoption to avoid multiple meetings.
IF a team member doesn't contact you within 72hrs of submitting an application, please follow up with us via email or phone call, otherwise, it may be overseen.
The Jesus and Walter have been transferred to our adoption center as of 6/16, and are available to meet NOW for adoption. Donny and Jeffrey will not be attending the center until early July but they, too, are available to meet NOW for adoption.
Ideally, they would be adopted with a sibling or another kitten. Applicants could mix and match a friend to adopt together, BUT the important factor to adopt kittens is that kittens are adopted either with a sibling, a friend, or into a home with other feline friends because kittens are very cat oriented and can get lonely.
