 Scheduled Adoption Events

To see all events, visit our EVENT CALENDAR Page.

To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Fostering is
  FREE and FUN!

Pepper

We received a lovely update about Pepper and Oregano, who were adopted together in March 2021.  They have found the "purrfect" forever home.  Here is what their adoptive Dad has to say about them:

"Thank you for checking in! Pepper and Oregano have been getting along very well, and we believe they're settling in. They really enjoy sitting by a window or our back door and watching the activity outside. We've attached a few pictures to show how they're doing - we think they're beginning to realize that they're going to be with us for a while. Thanks again for everything!"

Peppo

We received a wonderful "pupdate" about Peppo, who was adopted from ARWOB in February 2021.  Here is what his adoptive mom has to say about him:

"We are in love. Our rescue is smart, affectionate and such a welcome addition to our family. Thank you for rescuing him! He is still a little nugget, but with a big guy attitude."

Pumice

We received another awesome "pupdate" for one of the ARWOB alumni. Izzie (fka Pumice) was adopted in April 2020 and is doing really well in her adoptive home.  Here is what her mom has to say about her:

"Izzie (formerly Pumice) is fitting in so well. She is just about 25 lbs of snuggly, sweetness! She’s quite the troublemaker- she loves to dig in the yard, tear up her toys, and annoy her older brother. They are best buddies! It was perfect to get many months working from home with her as she settled in to our home. We are so thankful for ARWOB for giving us our crazy pup!"

Pinky

We received this really nice "pupdate" about Charley (fka Pinky), who was adopted from ARWOB in April 2020. Here is what her adoptive mom has to say about her!

"We just celebrated Charley’s (Pinky) 1st birthday. She is very loved by our two kids and spoiled since everyone works and does school from home right now. She steals any blanket and loves to snuggle. Charley has been the perfect addition to our family! My kids always say the only reason they are grateful for Covid is because Charley came into our lives. She has been the perfect fit for our family."

Pinkie Pie

We received this very nice "pupdate" about Pinkie Pie, who was adopted in January 2021.  Here is what her adoptive mom had to say:

"She’s doing well and settling in comfortably. She’s definitely grown in the week that we’ve had her. We took her out to the dog beach and she felt right at home! The day of her sterilization surgery, she was a bit tired but she’s healing smoothly so far and is adjusting to the “cone of shame” life. We keep telling her it won’t be forever though haha. Overall, she’s a happy pup!"
