Mojito

We received an adorable "pupdate" about Marlowe (formerly known as Mojito), who was adopted in September 2021. She is living her best life! Here is what her adoptive dad has to say about her:

"Thank you very much for reaching out! Marlowe (formerly known as Mojito) is doing absolutely wonderful! She is honestly the perfect dog for us and our lifestyle. She has adapted extremely well and is right at home. We love training her and we have started to take her hiking. More specifically regarding training: in addition to leash training, we have taught her to sit, lie down, stay, go to place, and we are continuing to work on shake, off, roll over, and potty bell (though she is obviously house trained, we want to sharpen communication - plus it’s fun to train!) We are also working on separation anxiety and she seems to be trending in the right direction. She has also had multiple playdates and regularly interacts with other dogs in our building and neighborhood."

Mudslide

Copper (fka Mudslide) was adopted in September 2021.  We received a very nice "pupdate" from his adoptive family.  Here is what his mom has to say about him:

"Mudslide is amazing! His new name is Copper, and he is the light of our lives. He is sweet and smart and growing quickly, but still small enough to pick up and snuggle. He is crate trained, potty trained, and leash trained, and he learns more every day. We absolutely adore him and can’t wait to give him love every day for the rest of his life! Thank you so much for checking in!"

Moscow

We received a sweet "pupdate" about Zuko (fka Moscow), who was adopted in September 2021.  His new mom just loves him to death!  Here is what she has to report:

"Moscow is doing great. He's going by Zuko now. He's 18.6 lbs the last time I checked a few days ago. He's learned the commands sit, lie down, stay, paw, come, off, and go potty. He's basically potty trained at this point, but he does still have an occasional accident every now and then. I signed him up for a Petsmart class, however, it was canceled on the day it was supposed to start since their trainer unexpectedly left the company that day, so until they get a new trainer ready, I've been learning tips and tricks online for how to train him in the meantime. He's quick to learn but I want to make sure I'm training him properly, so I may end up going to a farther location for training classes soon. He likes to say hi to the next door neighbor's dogs, even if they're much bigger than him. He enjoys going on car rides, especially up to LA where he gets to hang out with his furry cousins (my siblings' dogs), Cody and Bella. Bella is around his age (only off by 1-2 weeks) so they play a lot together. Cody is an older dog (about 8 years old) that likes his alone time, but he also enjoys running around with Zuko from time to time. His human cousin (my nephew), Luca, LOVES having Zuko visit. He just laughs and laughs at Zuko zooming around the house. Zuko seems to know to take his energy down a notch around Luca, who is almost 2 years old. Zuko likes to give everyone plenty of kisses and cuddles with just about anyone he's comfortable with. For Halloween, I got him a Squirtle costume while I dressed as a Pokemon trainer. We actually won a prize in the costume contest for my apartment complex. He's already an award-winning pooch, haha!"

Manhattan

We received a fantastic "pupdate" about Canaan (fka Manhattan), who was adopted in September 2021.  He is living his best life with his new family and he even keeps in touch with his litter mate, Mudslide!  Here is what his adoptive mom has to say about him:

"Thank you so much for checking on us. Manhattan (now named Canaan because his coloring is like the land of milk and honey) is more than we hoped for. One of my favorite things about him is he actually hugs. I’ve always wanted a lap dog and he definitely is. We are taking him everywhere with us and he loves puppy preschool. He’s smart, athletic and we think he will be great at agility in the future. His one ear up and one ear down stage is super cute. But mostly we love having him as a family member. We are staying in touch with his blood brother and enclosed a pic of them together too."

Molly

We received a cute "pupdate" about Molly, who was adoped in August 2021.  She is living her best life with her new family and her two human brothers!  Here is what her adoptive mom has to say:

"Molly is doing great! We all love her and especially the boys! She's a great addition to our family. She is about 5 months old now and getting taller. We haven't done any professional training with her. We are all home a lot, so we have been working with her on learning tricks and obeying commands. She is very smart and wants to please us."
