Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Honey

I'm not even exaggerating. She has been nothing but awesome since I've had her, and I feel like I am the luckiest person ever to have such an amazing dog. We're up in the Sierras, one week into a 3 month road/backpacking trip and she's doing just great. She's the best travel companion I've ever had, in part because she enthusiastically agrees with all of my suggestions (except the one about not chasing squirrels), but also because she is an excellent watch dog and companion (though it is hard to tell if she is watching for bears or squirrels). She has taken to hiking with serious enthusiasm, and loves to have her backpack put on because she knows we're going out (and there might be squirrels!). Seriously, she is awesome. I thought you might enjoy these photos. Thank you for being the ones to introduce her to me.

Hunter

We ADORE this cat! Hunter is the funniest little guy and just takes everything in stride. He loves to cuddle and he doesn't care if it's a person, a 70 pound dog, or one of the other cats (including the 17 year old, who is still not amused but has learned to tolerate his enthusiasm). Here is a picture of one of his favorite hangout spots. :) Thanks again for allowing us to bring him into our home. Cheers, Laurie

Hanzel

Here is a picture of Otis (fka Hanzel) at Coronado Beach a few weeks ago. He's doing very well and weighs about 50 lbs now. Still pretty shy with people but great with other dogs and mostly good with our cats. Thanks again for saving him.

Hank

"I thought you would enjoy seeing Mikey sleeping in his favorite position. He's doing well and needs one last visit for Dr. Cote to see him. (I had to change his previous appointment because it was the day I was to have my stitches removed. ) Last? visit will be Aug. 18." -Margaret Espiritu

Hilde

"Here are a few pics of our girl she is a little messed up but this is her typical state!!! She is a love. She weighs at last vet visit about 68lbs. extremely healthy and very active, she can run forever! She loves her Chargers whenever there was a game on she would have her Charger T shirt on with her football and every time someone would jump up and yell touch down she grabs her ball and starts running around like a mad dog, she is so much fun and extremely intelligent. She knows all of her commands by simple hand signals. As you can tell she has become part of the family or maybe we have become part of her family!!! Again you are welcome over anytime, Jeannette and I would like to make a donation so maybe Jeannette can meet you somewhere and bring Hilde." Best Regards Frank Evaro
