Meet Harley!
Update 9/23/24 - From Harley's foster family:
Harley loves to be outside. He's very happy to meet new friends animal and human. While shy at first, warms right up. Can play on his own and entertain himself with his chew bone and toys.
Update 9/7/24 - From Harley's foster family:
Harley is playful, but chill, sweet and affectionate. He is a very fast learner and very sensitive to tone of voice. He is getting better at going potty immediately when taken outside. He’s great with kids and cats too, but most likely needs a patient house cat. He would be great with any dog!
Original Rescue Story:
Harley, also lovingly named "Dobby" by his foster family (I mean look at that FACE! total dobby IYKYK) and we have to say, when Harley looks at you, he does so with the most loving eyes. Talk about puppy eyes! He could get away with anything when he gives you those adorable innocent loving puppy eyes.
Harley is amazing, Period. He is as friendly and loving as they come. He also loves to play and good around. Human cuddler extraordinaire BUT also playing tag or tug of war champion with any and all dog sizes. He is a happy dog with his same species canine friends and is a pacifist around the feline species foster friends. Harley has been at casa de ARWOB where he had a yard and many other dog friends and kitty friends. As of 8/20 he is fostered with 2 adults in an apartment setting with a feline resident. He is learning potty training, he has always been an expert at crate training and has a bladder we all wish we had ha ha. He is potty pad trained and is excited for his daily walks around the south park neighborhood in San Diego with his foster fam, perhaps you've seen him around?
Harley is as of 8/30 12 pounds and almost 5 months old, we expect he will be full grown anywhere in the 17 pound and no larger than 25 pounds. A baja mutt who was rescued along with his identical 5 siblings and their mama a little rollie pollie adorable chiweenie who is only 15 pounds.
Harley is a healthy pup, already fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and negative for heartworm.
To schedule a meet and greet with this handsome fella and possibly adopt him, the first step is to submit a dog adoption application online and a team member will be contacting you via text or email asap to schedule a call. Thank you! ARWOB.org
