Meet Baby!
Baby is a sweet kitty who was rescued back in January and has been at our cat adoption centers since March. She was a stray who was found hanging around with other cats and a few small breed dogs. She does well with cats but when the adoption centers have too many cats she prefers to seek sanctuary up high on the cat trees as she can't handle too many cats at the same time. She has had a few buddies, but everytime she makes new friends they are adopted. She LOVES to play either running around batting toys around her circular ball track with scratcher (see video) and, of course, cat trees are her favorite!
She will likely do ok with dogs who are gentle and older children who know how to behave and sound around cats. She can get scared with too much... especially at the beginning, but, with time, she gets used to the environment and becomes comfortable and relaxed.
We would love to find an adopter for Baby, but also need a foster home for her in the meantime in order to give her a break from the cat adoption centers and enjoy freedom and love, one on one, from a human at home. We were so happy to find a foster home for her for a short term, but she is losing her foster home because her foster mom is moving.
Baby's temporary foster mom who was only able to foster her for a while before a move had this to say about her:" Baby is doing well and is more relaxed now. She likes the bathroom a lot for some reason, and she lies down in there or in the guest bedroom so I think she prefers smaller areas. She likes spending time with my cat. (If you look at her pictures, you can see that she has become comfortable with her feline foster sibling). I think she's an awesome cat! Baby absolutely LOVES to be brushed and petted. She follows me around the house purring and she even meows when I talk to her.... it's so adorable :) She is an angel!"
