To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

We not only provide you with everything you need to take care of one of our rescues, but the experience is SO fulfilling. By placing one animal into a foster home, you allow us to save another. We are always in need of foster parents.

Meet Mack!

Mack was rescued from the Rosarito Dog Pound when ARWOB learned there were only 3 dogs left behind in an abandoned and not staffed dog pound. Without supervision, these pups had no water, food or human companionship. We rescued them from the dog pound and sent them for medical and boarding at a local Ensenada vet for a 2 week quarantine. They have been healthy and doing great and are now receiving and finalizing vetting in San Diego. These kids will be available for adoption on or after Friday, 3/25/16.

The 3 amigos, Maddie, Maverick & Mack are great dogs, doing great with people and other dogs, but have not been in a home environment. We do believe they will crate well, but they are not house broken and have not been tested around cats.

We are looking for adopters or foster parents for them on or after that date. Please submit an adoption application today if you would like to adopt or foster to adopt. If you like to ONLY foster with NO intent to adopt, then please submit the foster application. THANK YOU! ARWOB.org
