Meet Vaca! Vaca lived on the streets of Tijuana Mexico for about a year and was being fed by a kind person in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, this person moved away and Vaca was left to fend for himself. Consequently, he was starving while living on the streets and was full of ticks, fleas and had a case of mange. Finally someone contacted a local rescuer who took him home to rehabilitate him, but since she has many dogs in her home in Mexico, she reached out to ARWOB for help.
He is fostered in San Diego and would love to find his forever family!
He is a super sweet and friendly boy with a very gentle personality. Plus he is very smart! We believe he may be a distemper survivor because his body shakes and twitches occasionally – some times these twitches are subtle; other times they are a little more pronounced (pls watch his videos - its really NO big deal, for most)
HE does not have any special needs, doesn’t need any special handling, and is not on any medication. We are hoping to find a foster or adopter who understands that he has these minor twitching episodes, but is otherwise a very happy and healthy boy. He is great with dogs, CATS AND ALL humans
