To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

We not only provide you with everything you need to take care of one of our rescues, but the experience is SO fulfilling. By placing one animal into a foster home, you allow us to save another. We are always in need of foster parents.

Meet Misty. She is about 2-years-old, is fully grown at 55lbs, and looks like a German Shepherd mix. She was found in Mexico under an abandoned car nursing her 11 puppies! Our volunteers acted quickly in getting her out of that situation and somewhere safe and quiet where she could nurse her pups. The puppies are currently 6-weeks-old and will be available on Nov. 10th. As for Misty, she is not only very thankful, but extremely sweet and friendly. She is not a barker, intelligent, well-behaved, and would make an excellent family dog. She is OK with dogs although she has not been tested around cats. Since she is a big dog, she would love to go to a home with a yard, however, she is just so mellow we think she wouldn't mind living in an apartment as long as she is taken out daily for her walks and visits to dog park.
