Hello, my name is Butter and I am a 4 month old Dachshund mix. My foster mom named me Butter because I just melted into her heart when I first met her. I am very calm and relaxed for a puppy, and I like to spend most of my days lounging around and following my foster mom around the house.
I am sweet, very eager to please, curious and a little shy sometimes. I can be very obedient with a patient person and I am good with children, cats, and other dogs. I am currently living with my foster parents and their chihuahua, who are teaching me new things everyday! I know how to share food and toys with my foster brother, and I have been trained to only go on training pads indoors.
I love walks and running or lounging on the grass, but heavy exercise is not my thing. I almost never bark, but when I do, it's usually when I see another dog and get excited! My foster mom thinks that I am part Rhodesian Ridgeback because the fur along my spine stands up when I get excited and bark. I love people and I just want to find a forever home. Please let me melt into your heart too :)
