To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Hera is a cuddly and curious 8 month old Lab/Shepherd mix who weighs about 45 lbs.

Hera is ready for adoption as she has a clean bill of health from a veterinarian, is dewormed, has had her vaccines, and is chipped. She is crate and leash-trained, okay in the car, and great around other dogs and cats. In fact, she is very social around other dogs and prefers to be around them.

She is great around everyone - men, women, and children - and even cats!

Her current foster mom has several cats and dogs of all ages and sizes and Hera does very well. If you are looking for a dog who is loving, medium size, has a fantastic predisposition, can be active yet not overwhelming and independent yet very loving you have found your new companion!

Hera is not a barker but she has a pretty deep large breed bark, she can pull a bit on the leash so an adopter who will train her to walk on the leash and basic obedience commands would be ideal, everything else she has it covered herself! She is just an easy to love and care for gal.
