Wolfie is a sweet, mellow, loving, and playful 3 month old pup who was found by a vet tech when she happened to be in Tijuana, Mexico. When she offered him food and he followed her she decided to bring him to her home in San Diego. She went to Mexico to visit friends and came back with a friend!

Wolfie is healthy and has been dewormed several times in the last 10 days we have had him (since 10/20/10). He has had his first set of vaccines and Revolution applied. He has a GREAT appetite for food as he never really had much food to eat on the streets even at such a young age. He is also somewhat medium energy in a sense that he will quietly settle down when you ask him to, but is generally active when it's time to have fun. Right now, he is gaining weight although he still looks like a street pup, however, we are helping to fatten him up and he will look like a healthy pup in no time. He is crate trained and learning how to walk on the leash. Wolfie has proven to be quite the natural on the leash as he doesn't pull too much and passes by other dogs quietly. Even if there are noisy and aggressive dogs near him on the leash, Wolfie completely ignores them or rather, he just stares at them dumbfounded. There doesn't seem to be a mean bone in his body because he is so friendly and confident with and around other dogs and people. When he sees cats, he's a little curious about them, but doesn't even try to attack them. Considering that Wolfie has lived on the streets since he was born, we aren't surprised that he is a little more confident around different situations than most dogs, but we are stunned that he is so very social and naturally well-behaved when out in public places or in the house. He even has the habit of going potty outside and will attempt to hold it until he gets to a nice "spot" to relieve himself. Wolfie has a general understanding that he should "go" outside, but he is a puppy with a developing bladder, so he will definitely need regular potty breaks.

His adoption fee covers all vaccinations, neuter, microchip and his registration but it will be done in steps over the next 2 months. Because of this, we need adopter who lives within 30 miles of San Diego so they will be able to drive him down to us every 3-4 weeks to continue with his vaccination series.

Wolfie is a charm and the perfect little companion who needs to real home!
