Meet Rosie‼️
This little sweetheart was rescued on 1/23/24 when someone saw a men putting her in the back of a open pick up truck bed Which was parked in the parking lot of a center mall in Ensenada, Mexico. Luckily one of partnered rescuers happened to be at the bank and heard the lady tell someome that someone had dumped the pup in the truck, which happened to belong to one of the bank employees who said "well, i can't keep her I'm not allowed dogs. I will go outside and put her in the street" that's when our arwob friend stepped up and said i will take her. She took her to the local baja vet to be dewormed and checked and then sent home to start her quarantine. After 2 weeks this healthy and very lucky girl was started on her vaccine series and was able to be incorporated with the fosters dogs and from day she showed to be a sweetheart.
how someone can abandoned such a young babe at only 6 weeks old was beyond us but it's the sad story of so many animals Who some luck out and find help and sadly others don't have such luck.
rosie will be in San Diego 3/5 going to casa de arwob in San Diego until we cna find a foster or adopter. To meet this beautiful sweet pup who is currently Approx 10 pounds and expected to full grown be 40-50lbs please submit an application online at arwob.org
know rosie is a super mutt from baja Which means she likely has many breeds from chihhuahua to poodle to shepherd to maybe even pug! Who knows! All we know is she primarily looks "pitty" so she is bound to have some pitbull breed and hence we are looking for adopters who are advocates and friends of the breed without worrying if they are moving or renting dog friendly locations who allow the breed in the future. We just know she's an amazing pup with a great social loving demeanor very people, dog and cat friendly who is short haired and will grow to be in the medium size range. She is crate trained and catching wuickly on potty training when she is allowed outside frequently. She rides well in the car and is not very vocal only when she is excited and happy.
rosie has had two sets of vaccines and still needs to be spayed which is scheduled for mid March in the north park area 92104 and hence only accepting adoptiona from local San Diego families who can adopt her now BUT can take her to her prescheduled spay appointment in the midweek. Surgery is already included with adoption fee.
