This beauty is now named "Trinity" and lovingly called 'trini' she is a young pup approx. 5-6mo of age who is rescued off the streets of Ensenada, Mexico the first week of July. She must have had some guardian angels guiding her because she actually walked herself straight to a local 'dog rescuer' in Ensenada who happened to be leaving for work on a early morning and when she opened the door she noticed a small pup walking straight to her path to say 'good morning' and of course as a rescuer (basically just someone who can't just leave a young at its luck in the streets of Mexico never the less a young pup" she decided to bring her inside, post notes that she found her and see if anyone came to find her and as most stories of these baja strays, owners never come looking because most are just born in the streets being part of the street dog community.
Back in July she was only about 4 months and 15 pounds starving and flea infested.
ARWOB received a plea from help to take her in under our care, we have accepted but we have ZERO available foster homes in San Diego so her rescuer/foster in Ensenada will keep her under her care until we can find someone to apply to foster this sweetheart across the border in San Diego so she an attend adoption events (we have several events in September and October - we REALLY hope we can find a foster for her so she doesn't miss her opportunity at adoption since she is a larger breed and not a small young 2-4mo pup like most adopters want in a puppy age wise.
We have NO idea what her breed would be but can only guess she has Shep, pit, lab and probably some chihuahua and poodle since most baja dogs have a HUGE genetic pool, ha ha
We are told she has a sweet demeanor and although sturdy in build pup she is a total mush of a personality. Trinity is Mellow, playful, active, and social. Crate trained. If you can help us help trinity to either adopt her or foster her please apply online. If you are thinking about adopting but would like to get to know her first, then please submit a adoption application and just comment on the last question you'd like to foster trini FIRST with a intent to adopt and if not a good match and things are going well you can continue to foster her until we find a forever family OR she of course come back to our care as long as we have a few days notice.
As of 9/8 Trinity continue to be south of the border in Ensenada and adoption events are coming up fast, can you help foster this little one for us? Please contact us so we can make arrangements for her foster in baja to bring her up.
if you would like to adopt or foster Trinity please, Submit an application and a volunteer will review it and text or email you to schedule a 10-15min call to talk about the adoption/foster process and if both parties want to move fwd schedule a meet and greet in the clairemont or mission valley area.
We can schedule meet and greets ANY day of the week and any time during daylight. ARWOB does NOT ship dogs so if you want to meet me you have to drive down to meet me AND ARWOB does NOT place a hold on rescues, so please do not submit an adoption application unless you are prepared/ready to be a puppy parents SOON typically within a week or so of submitting an application because I am READY to go home.
NOTE- Trinity is not spayed yet and she is scheduled at a local San Diego veterinary clinic to be spayed the first week of October, the surgery is already paid and included with the adoption fee and they are NOT able to make changes so local San Diego adopters who can drop off and pick up from surgery the same day in the 92104 is a MUST. This surgery day is Nontransferable. We are SERIOUS about pet overpopulation and sterilization. This appointment will NOT be able tbe canceled, changed, or postponed. This is important to know before submitting your application to adopt me as well. Thank you and I REALLY hope you choose to meet her and if you hit it off to either foster or ADOPT her! :)
