Hello! My name is Sebastian!
I am looking for a furever family who is READY for a lifetime companion in me.
Let me tell you a little about myself now that I have lived in a foster home in San Diego.
I was rescued from a high kill shelter in San Bernadino when my foster mom read about my plight being red listed for lack of space. I found myself in that shelter when someone turned me in as a stray. I was exited from the shelter a couple of days later along with 2 other adult female feline friends who happened to be rooming in a kennel next to mine who also had the same fate as me. So, our foster mom named us Daffy, Tulip and Sebastian and away we went to safety. She made room in her home for us all and the 2 girls ended up being roomies in her spare bedroom while I took the bathroom like the gentleman that I am.
We were saved the first week of March and had to wait to be ready for adoption since we were ALL extremely sick with nasty shelter germs that made us sickly with what they called an upper respiratory infection. Our foster mom had to give us daily medications, fluids and help us eat because we all had lost our appetites. We were a little depressed remembering what we had to endure in the streets and then that shelter. We are SO happy now and our quarantine and medical has been finally finished and we are now READY to find loving families of our own so this amazing human can continue to help friends we left behind who will also need her home to be saved.To find the right family for me, this is what our foster mom has to say about me...
".......Sebastian is the definition of a Maine Coon kitty. He is extremely dapper looking, vocal (lots of short meows and chirps), craves human affection so much, and loves to follow his human around everywhere. His coat is a beautiful gray and high brown color, and he has large paws. He loves to give his human head bunts and place his paw on your lap if you're sitting next to him.
I have EXCELLENT manners in the 'sand box' and I do like to look out the window but never tried escaping. My foster says I am very sweet natured and a total 'Ham' I suppose she must be hungry when she calls me that! I do enjoy the little humans called children because they are constantly providing entertainment and lots of pets.
