About Daffodil | |

|
We all know how colorful, spring flowers can brighten our days.
Let us introduce you to two kits with “flowery” personalities….Daffy (short for Daffodil) and Tully (short for Tulip)!!
Keep reading because they would love to have you learn more about them and their story because each of them is looking for a lifetime of love and a forever family.
Someone turned us in to the San Bernardino high kill shelter after finding us wandering around in a field. Daffy, was turned in as a pregnant kitty and gave birth the very next day, but lost all of her babies, who were premature.
We were rescued by an ARWOB volunteer after she read about our plight..we had been red-listed for euthanasia due to the lack of space. She drove all the way up from San Diego to exit us. Our new foster mom named us Daffy (short for Daffodil), and Tully (short for Tulip) She made room in her home for us and we shared a room together since we got along so well. We do not know if we are actually blood siblings, but certainly enjoy each other’s company and act like the best of friends.
We were taken to the safety of our new foster home the first week of March, but we were sick from the nasty shelter germs which made us sick with an upper respiratory infection., as well as being stressed and sad in the shelter. Thankfully, our foster mom cared for us, giving us daily medication and helped us get our appetites back. She also showered us with love! Once we started to feel better and realized we were safe and loved, our true personalities began to shine through!
Daffy:
My foster mom says that I’m a TOTAL love bug! When she stands next to me, I will put my paws out to love on her while I’m purring. I am curious about everything and love to follow my foster mom around everywhere. I love to check out my surroundings and one of my favorite things is to hang out on the highest part of the cat tree and roll around with my catnip toy. I also love snuggling with my BFF, Tully, on the cat tree. I have excellent litter box manners and am so content with my new life. I enjoy looking out the window, but have never tried to sneak outside.
Tully:
I love getting on my foster mom’s lap and loving on her. I guess you can say I’m a “people kitty” because I enjoy my humans!. I’m definitely on the smaller side, but I have a big personality! I am always rubbing on my human and I enjoy getting head bunts too. We both enjoy playing and snuggling together and are big fans of wand toys, ping pong balls, and toy mice! In a typical day you could find us enjoying looking out the window and snuggling together on the cat tree.
NOTHING could possibly make us happier than to be adopted together and spend the rest of our lives together in the furrever home of our dreams!. We have been through so much and, in the process, become Best Friends Forever. What is better than one cat, you ask? Two cats…especially if their names are Daffy and Tully!! If you are interested in a pair, than we ARE the ones for you!! If you are looking to adopt only one kitty, though, we might be fine as a single cat and, in that case, a foster to adopt trial might be best. We are not comfortable with other felines around (other than ourselves, of course).
If we have caught your attention and given you a picture of what amazing felines our humans tell us we are and you would like to meet us,, please submit an adoption application online at Arwob.org.
If you would like to meet one of our animals, PLEASE fill out an adoption application. PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU ARE IN THE MILITARY please fill out a short questionnaire in addition to the adoption application.
