Update from foster family:
"Blackberry is a soft, fuzzy black ball of sweetness. She will melt your heart in one head tilt. She is adventurous and playful and loves attention from her human. She is great with people of all ages and plays well with other dogs. Blackberry is a typical puppy with lots of energy and curiosity. Blackberry will add such a loving component to any family that will treat her like the princess that she is."
Meet the berries!!
An adorable litter of 5 siblings rescued from Tijuana Mexico in early October.
These sweet babies are fully quarantined, fully vaccinated and more than ready to be adopted.
As of 11/27/22 they are:
BlackBerry - male 12 pounds (grow to be 25-35lbs)
Cranberry - male 13 pounds ( grow to be 30-45lbs)
Raspberry - male 15 pounds (grow to be 25-35lbs)
Blueberry - male 18 pounds (grow to be 40-55lbs)
Strawberry - female 19 pounds (grow to be 50-65lbs)
You may be thinking to yourself....."WHAT?! How can they be so different and potentially so different in size?!" Well, they are SUPER mutts!!! ;)
Like many baja stray dogs they are a huge genetic gene pool and likely have small and large brreds together giving you different siblings since they likely all have many dads in the mix. Let's be honest they probably have anything from pitbull to spanie to shepherd to beagle or many many other breeds.
The smallest is blackberry followed by raspberry and the biggest is the only girl who's likely they sweetest of them all :)
*Blackberry is probably most collie/spaniel look alike.
and he is fostered in PB along with working adults with an arwob alumn pup as his foster brother.
*Strawberry and blueberry are fostered together with a family of 2 adults, 2 young (7-9yr old adorable foster brothers) and several other pups and adult large breed dogs. Strawberry some say sh's beagle, JRT, mountain curl and lab mix....Blueberry mosy shepherd like an Anatolian shep mix
*Raspberry (looks very spaniel mix) and Cranberry(looks very chocolate lab mix) are fostered together at casa de ARWOB along with cats and other foster dogs.
All pups are very social with humans both adults and children as well as dogs and cats. They are all fully vaccinated sterilized and everything else we do for all our rescues medical. No health problems except for Raspberry who has an old eye injury. sweetest little pups with the best disposition from them all. like all pups they will need adopters who are looking to train their new family member to be house trained, potty trained, etc. They love human companionship and they have the most fun during doggy playtimes.
They are ready to be adopted so if you are ready to meet them and potentially adopt them please submit an application to adopt NOW at ARWOB.org
Notes-
*we don't place holds on rescues. Pls don't submit an application unless you are ready to adopt within 3-7 days of submitting an application.
*Applications will be reviewed within 48hrs and contacy you via e-mail to schedule a phone call.
*Please, select your primary and secondary (If interested in someone else as well) and let us know whom you like to meet or if open to meeting couple of dogs to see whom you have a connection with.
