These two are an amazing pair of siblings who do not have to be adopted together, but should be adopted into a home with another kitty or with another ARWOB feline. They are social and need other feline companionship.
These 2 were rescued from a cruelty case. They were rescued by the local SD shelter and transferred to the care of ARWOB. These 2 have been in foster care since September and are now ready for adoption. As of early November, they are healthy, sterilized, FeLV/FIV negative and READY to be adopted in time for the holidays. They are fostered in Alpine and a meet and greet would be scheduled in the 92117 area. Please do not submit adoption applications unless available to adopt MEOW, as we do not place holds on our rescues. Thank you! Please submit an online application at www.arwob.org
We received this update from their foster mom as of 10/29/22 and they are now in the 2-3month old range and 2-3 pounds:
"Honeybun is a very sweet and loving kitty! When you wake up in the morning, he will be there rubbing against your face, and he loves meowing for pets. He is very brave, as he will follow you around the house like your little shadow and has no fear of dogs whatsoever. Honeybun loves company, and will always be by your side. He is also a playful little guy; he enjoys playing with his sister and his humans. Honeybun has a habit of trying to scare his humans when they walk by him, as he will jump up and leap at you playfully. He is not aggressive at all toward people and he's a big joy to be around. Although he is a very sweet kitten, he has a tendency to dip his little paws into our fish bowl and try to swat the fish. Besides this little habit, he's not a reckless cat that will zoom through your home 24/7. He's also a pretty big boy, so if you're looking for a kitten that will most likely grow up to be large, he's the one! He has no problem eating his food and is not aggressive toward other cats during feeding time, either. Unlike lots of other cats, Honeybun doesn't seem to have an interest in human food meaning he won't try to steal your treats or be in your face while you are eating. Overall, Honeybun is a pretty laid back cat that would fit perfectly into any family!"
