These two are an amazing pair of siblings who do not have to be adopted together, but should be adopted into a home with another kitty or with another ARWOB feline. They are social and need other feline companionship.
These 2 were rescued from a cruelty case. They were rescued by the local SD shelter and transferred to the care of ARWOB. These 2 have been in foster care since September and are now ready for adoption. As of early November, they are healthy, sterilized, FeLV/FIV negative and READY to be adopted in time for the holidays. They are fostered in Alpine and a meet and greet would be scheduled in the 92117 area. Please do not submit adoption applications unless available to adopt MEOW, as we do not place holds on our rescues. Thank you! Please submit an online application at www.arwob.org
We received this update from their foster mom as of 10/29/22 and they are now in the 2-3month old range and 2-3 pounds:
"Apple Fritter is the perfect kitten if you are interested in having a buddy that will hang out with you all the time! Her favorite thing to do is curl up on your chest and sleep and purr on you no matter what you're doing. She'll cuddle up with you for hours at a time while you watch TV or read a book, or track you down for pets throughout the day. If given the opportunity, chances are she would sleep the whole night with you! Apple Fritter is just as friendly with other animals as she is with people. She has no problems with cats or dogs, and loves to play with her brother, Honeybun. She will gladly bat around any toy you give her, but she especially likes the wand cat toys with strings on the end. She is also very well trained when it comes to her food. If you call her and tap the door to where she eats, she will come darting to you in search of her dinner! She shows no signs of aggression either, although she does nibble on your fingernails sometimes(not aggressively, just playfully!). She doesn't bite or scratch at all; she would probably be great with young kids. Really, this is a very sweet kitty who is a big fan of everyone she meets!"
