Meet The Halloween babies!
Michael, Laurie and Jamie are an ADORABLE trio of siblings who were found by SDGE workers working out in the fields of Campo (east county) the pups came out of a bush running towards them and licking and wagging tails. To their surprise the workers looked around and called around and nothing, no mama dog, no other siblings and no people/homes in sight. They think they were probably abandoned earlier in the day. They contacted local shelter unable to pick them up so one of the employees took them home while figured things out. The wife contacted a friend who contacted us for help and thankfully we had open room for the babies. They were thirsty and hungry but in good happy condition so its highly likely someone took care of them while babies. We wished we had found or know where mom was so we could help her or spay her at least BUT alas at least we helped these babies.
What can we say? they are amazing! Loving, smart, very cute and just great pups who will be amazing family companions especially to the right families who are READY to tackle a puppy stage and ALL the shenanigans that come with it. They are crate trained, it took them a few days but they are the cleanest who will vocalize only when they need to go potty and never had accident in the crate. They are amazing with dogs (once they know them bc they can be a little scared like any baby can be when they first meet a new dog) senior dogs don't mind them and adult dogs love to play with them but they can be a little rough scarring the pups but they are getting the hang of it. They adore people so would be excellent with children (but watch out they have sharp baby shark teeth accidentally nibbling at you) The ideal adopter will have TIME to dog train from potty training, continue crate training (if like to do so), house training and most importantly PUPPY/DOG TRIANING to make sure they learn good manners and help socialize at a young age with other people and dogs. They are already perfect, we want to keep that way as they grow up through teenage stages into adulthood.
Jamie is the smallest and a little more people oriented, followed by Laurie who has the most amazing brindle colors and she is a BIG girl (those paws!) but a total sweetheart and then of course there is MICHAEL!! but this boy is a goofy loving boy unlike the Halloween Michael LOL he is the life of the party wanting to play and explore and will definitely be the biggest of the 3 according to those lovely BIG paws.
They are definitely lab mixes but there could be some mastiff bc of the thickness of Michael and Laurie or some shepherd or boxer. Jamie likely will be 40-55lbs full grown and her siblings likely 50-70lbs.
They are great with cats but have no experience with farming or pocket pets. They love toys and sharing and are very food motivated.
The pups are scheduled to be sterilized in San Diego in the 92104 zip code area on Tuesday, October 18th. This date is FIRM and cannot be changed. Therefore, adopters must live locally to San Diego and be available to transport their newly adopted pup to and from the vet clinic for their sterilization surgery.

We typically only have adoption events once a month at the petsmart in clairemont 92117 but we can schedule meet and greets any day of the week as soon as we receive an adoption application, review it and set up a phone call interview, if approved we would love fwd to set up a meet in the 92117 and adoption can happen the same day of the meets. However, we don't place holds on rescues which means, please DO NOT submit an application to adopt if not ready to schedule a meet and greet within the week of submit an interest in adopting THANKY YOU!
