To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Mocha!

UPDATE - Here is what Mocha’s foster family has to say about him:

“Mocha is such a sweet boy! He is laid back and loving. He is calm and listens well. He knows how to sit for a treat. He has long and lanky legs which makes him a little clumsy at times. He loves to chase tennis balls and retrieve them. He is a gentle giant that deserves the best and loving family.”

Mocha was rescued from Ensenada Mexico and he is now here in San Diego looking for his forever home! He is great with other dogs, cats, and kids!

Mocha is scheduled to be sterilized in the North Park area of San Diego (92104) on Tuesday, July 12, 2022. Therefore, his adopter must be able to take him to and from the sterilization appointment. This procedure is included in his adoption fee. This means we are only accepting applications from local area adopters. If you happen to live outside of the area and are interested in this pup, you are more than welcome to check back after the sterilization has been completed to see if the pup is still available at that time. We do not place holds on any of our rescues.
