To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

We not only provide you with everything you need to take care of one of our rescues, but the experience is SO fulfilling. By placing one animal into a foster home, you allow us to save another. We are always in need of foster parents.

Meet Zorro!

UPDATE 5-18-22: Here is what Zorro's foster family has to say about him:

"Zorro is a stout little man who is so sweet and cautious with new people. He loves to play with his sister Sza Sza. He looks like a little spider monkey with his playful jumps and army crawls. He is doing really well on the potty training but we are now working on where to go potty in the backyard. Zorro is so playful with the kids and is such a happy boy. He will be such a loving addition to any family."

ORIGINAL RESCUE STORY:

This litter of 6 puppies were rescued from Ensenada Mexico. They are now in San Diego and are ready to find their forever homes. They are up to date on medical and have been sterilized. These beautiful pups are great with children, dogs, and cats! We are looking for fosters or adopters and we offer foster-to-adopt trials. If you are interested in one of these cuties pies, please submit an online application at www.arwob.org right away!

The puppies will be attending our upcoming adoption event at PetSmart in Clairemont on May 15th (check our Events Calendar for more information). We recommend that you fill out an online application prior to the event to give our volunteers time to review your application.
