Meet Lunas babies!
Luna is a Beautiful Siamese lynx point girl who was rescued along with her 4 nursing kittens from the streets of Tijuana early April. Poor mama was severely malnourished and so were her babies.
They have been in San Diego since late April and Luna is one foster home while her 4 babies are with a foster family all together. They are socialized and loving active kittens ready for adoption NOW!
They are healthy babies with their second set vaccines and fostered in a home among other cats, will do fine in a home with kids or cats and although not exposed to dogs being young kittens they will be fine around dogs when properly introduced to cat friendly canine friends
Foster Update: 6/21:
Cheyenne: This little white kitten is a fireball. She has such an adventurous personality and is always the first one to check out anything new! She loves to play with just about anything, and will attack your hands, toes and just about anything you let her play with! When picked up her little purr motor revs up. She has become quite the climber and can get just about anywhere. She loves to cuddle and snuggle up on your tummy for a nap after her playtime and may even fall asleep on your head while playing with your hair! She would love a home where she is shown an abundance of attention, plenty of playtime, and lots of cuddles! Olympia is her best buddy playmate, and she would love to be adopted with her if she had her input!
Pierre: This little guy is the only boy of the litter but demands more attention than the ladies! When you walk in the room he is the first to greet you and will insist that you pet him, or pick him up. Like his sisters, he loves to play but will be the first to embark on a nice long nap afterwards. He loves to sleep right on your neck so he knows he is close to you. He loves loves loves belly rubs and will fall asleep loudly purring if you rock him in your arms while petting his tummy. He would be great in a home who wants the cutest little cuddle bug that will always talk to you when he wants something! He is very vocal.
Providence: Providence is the runt of the litter, but don’t let that fool you because she can hold her own with the rest of the group! Whenever the others are playing she always jumps in to join the fun! She loves attention and knows the perfect time to get it: right when it’s feeding time. If you bring in food for the litter, while everyone else is eating she will come to you purring for one-on-one cuddles and attention. Once everyone is done she’ll then go eat before coming back for more love! Like Pierre she loves nap time and her favorite place to cuddle up is right below your chin so she’s nice and close! Providence would love a home who has a lot of love and cuddles 24/7!
Olympia: This beautifully marked female will melt your heart. She is always checking in to see how you are, then bounds off to kitten playtime with her siblings. She has a lot of energy and is the hold out for naps, but will often join the sleeping cuddle puddle. Cheyenne is her best buddy playmate, and she would love to be adopted with her; however, she would be just as happy going into any home with a play buddy.
All four kittens love interacting with each other. If asked which kittens seem to have a special attachment to a particular sibling, Cheyenne and Olympia are best friends and would love to be adopted together. Pierre and Providence are a great best buddy pair, as well.
Would you like to meet and possibly adopt these cuties? First, submit a cat adoption application online for review. A volunteer will call you to finish processing your application and, if approved to adopt, we can schedule an actual meet and greet to interact with these kittos at our cat adoption center located at the PetSmart in Clairemont where the foster parent will bring them for you to meet.
Meet and greets can happen pretty quickly as long as applicants can gather all the items from our adoption check list and have them ready. ARWOB does NOT place HOLDS on rescues, so please, only submit an application to adopt if you are READY to adopt within 2-7 days of submitting the application. Typically, the same day of meet and greet (assuming interaction goes well) is the same day of adoption to avoid multiple meetings.
IF a team member doesn't contact you within 72hrs of submitting an application, please follow up with us via email or phone call, otherwise, it may be overseen.
Ideally, they would be adopted with another kitten. Applicants could mix and match a sibling or another Arwob friend to adopt together, BUT the important factor to adopt kittens is that kittens are adopted either with a sibling, a friend, or into a home with other feline friends because kittens are very cat oriented.
