Princess Luna is looking for a pampered life of endless human affection. Luna's current foster says she is the easiest cat, especially for a first time cat parent. She greets you at the door when you come home from work, loves to snuggle in bed, and her recent new favorite activity is hopping into your lap and plopping down for a lap nap while you catch up on what's new on Netflix. While she adores human affection, she is also an independent gal and can entertain herself batting around some toys or just having some "me time" lounging in a cat tree. She is the purrfect mix of a cat who loves affection, but won't take it personally if you need to go to work to pay for her pampered life or if you also need some "me time."
Luna is not very vocal and although she is a princess, she will snuggle next to you and wait patiently for you to get out of bed to serve her breakfast. Have you ever seen a cat do a "high five"?!? Make sure you have a treat ready for her! Luna also loves wand toys and it's an essential for all spoiled princesses! This royal princess sometimes thinks she is a MMA fighter and will get "hyped up" in her play fight mode. She will try to instigate a duel by play biting or grabbing your hand or arm with her paws. When she gets in these moods, just tap yourself out and move away to let her cool down and snap back into being a spoiled, affectionate princess.
Luna has had a lot of change in her life, so she may hide under the bed or a chair for a day while she observes and assesses her new home before walking up to her new humans for pets and affection. Luna absolutely dislikes sharing her space with other feline subjects and she is happiest as the only cat in her kingdom. She previously lived in a foster home with a calm, cat-savvy dog and has expressed that she prefers to not live with the canine species. Luna has not met any young children, but we expect she would enjoy the loving affection of respectful, cat-savvy children 12 years or older who can cater to her royal needs.
If you have been looking for the purrfect, affectionate princess to pamper, please submit an adoption application online at arwob.org.
