Scheduled Adoption Events

These beautiful sisters are fostered together in a home with college students as the only pets, but like all young kittens, we know they will adjust easily to a home with other pets, if any.  They are extremely social, loving and active, so they should also do well with kids.

Foster Update 5/21 and 6/21:

Lani, the kitten with more brown in her fur, is an active and curious girl who loves to explore, jump, and climb on things. She is the most adventurous of the two. She is easily entertained chasing toys or playing with her sister. She is a wonderful lap cat and it’s easy to get her to purr when petted and you can work while she lounges with you in your chair. Both kittens love  being carried around like babies (i.e. on their backs). 

Teddy , the grayer kitten of the two, is very cautious when she approaches new toys, people, and environments. She is also another wonderful lap cat. Teddy loves to be petted, take naps, and watch you work. She always enjoys being in the same room as you and it is often when she is sleeping! She enjoys chasing lasers and strings and will likely ask you for your attention if she is lonely. They both love being carried around like babies (i.e. on their backs). As time is pasing, Teddy is starting to get a bit browner and her stripes are starting to be clearer...meaning..these sisters are starting to look more and more alike.

Would you like to meet and possibly adopt these cuties?  First, submit a cat adoption application online for review. A volunteer will call you to finish processing your application and, if approved to adopt, we can schedule an actual meet and greet to interact with these kittos at our cat adoption center located at the PetSmart in Clairemont where the foster parent will bring them for you to meet.

Meet and greets can happen pretty quickly as long as applicants can gather all the items from our adoption check list and have them ready. ARWOB does NOT place HOLDS on rescues, so please, only submit an application to adopt if you are READY to adopt within 2-7 days of submitting the application.  Typically, the same day of meet and greet (assuming interaction goes well) is the same day of adoption to avoid multiple meetings. 

IF a team member doesn't contact you within 72hrs of submitting an application, please follow up with us via email or phone call, otherwise, it may be overseen.

Ideally, they would be adopted with a sibling or another kitten. Applicants could mix and match a friend to adopt together, BUT the important factor to adopt kittens is that kittens are adopted either with a sibling, a friend, or into a home with other feline friends because kittens are very cat oriented and can get lonely.
