These 5 puppies (Muttley, Mumbly, Pinky, Naia, and Brain) are adorable siblings who were rescued from the streets of Tijuana on 3/20/2020 when a couple of volunteers were walking the streets and noticed all these pups running around. They offered them kibble and all were eating desperately and very friendly approached our volunteers, who, of course, picked them all up and off they went into rescue. Their mom is a dark brown small chi/terrier mix who had an owner who she wanted the pups gone as it was evident from them being on the streets not being cared for. Sadly she did not approve giving us the mom for adoption, but we are hopeful we can get her spayed to prevent further litters.
Not sure of dad but they certainly look like chiwennies, low riders and there are 3 boys and 2 girls (one of the boys has a poodle type face)
They will likely grow to be in the 15-25lb range so in the smaller breed size.
They are crate trained and sleep through the night 8hrs. They love people, kids, dogs and cats :)
The pups will be sterilized in mid April at which time they can be adopted. For now, we are looking for a foster to adopt family who can care for them while they have their spay surgery or adopt after their spay surgery. To schedule a meet and greet, please file a dog adoption application online at arwob.org
