ARWOB prefers to adopt kittens under 6 months of age to families who have other feline family members or planning on adopting 2 cats together. 2 kittens from the same litter or 'mix and match' with other of the ARWOB kittens. Thinking outside the box, adopting an adult cat and a kitten together would help the forgotten adult kittens while also enjoying the VERY short time frame a kitten will stay small. Remember kittens will reach full size within 10 months of age, kittens are not just a NOW adoption, but a LIFETIME adoption which is a 10-20 year commitment.
The “Little Rascal” kittens were rescued from a granero (13 kittens total of different ages) who were crammed into a small bird cage and being sold at a local 'pet supply' store in Tijuana..., most under 2 pounds and skinny. Thankfully, we had fosters who could help foster them while we made arrangements to bring them over to San Diego. They are now ready for adoption.
Spanky is part of The Little Rascals gang (Froggy, Scooter, Darla, Georgie, and Clarabell). He is a beautiful long-haired black and white kitten with the softest fur ever. He loves to play with his siblings, run through the cat tunnels, and also seeks out his human for petting and kisses. He knows his name and is comfortable with his foster dog (large breed dog). He enjoys a variety of toys and loves to climb the cat tree. In the afternoons, he loves to lay in a sunny spot and nap. His purr is loud and he purrs immediately when he gets loving from his humans. He will come up and lay next to you. He is a sweet, sweet kitten and would make a great addition to any home,
