Meet the 'J' Bears!
These adorable fluff balls are now available for adoption!
These 5 male siblings came to us in early April. Someone in south San Diego found a box of puppies and called seeking help for their care. Upon their intake, 4 pups looked great and 1 puppy, Jaime, was sickly with symptoms of a cold. That same day we took the bears to the vet hospital for a check up. The vet also mentioned he looked well except for the cold and placed him on antibiotics. To be safe, we ran a distemper titer, because it is puppy season and sadly the results came back positive for exposure to the distemper disease. Typically, distemper has a high mortality rate, but the pups looked great and it was decided instead of euthanizing them to keep them under quarantine and observation and see how they did. Well, the bears have done nothing but perfection since the beginning. They have been amazing puppies and her foster mom loves them!
These pups have spent the past 4 weeks secluded from the rest of the dogs in the home in their own little yard and are the smartest most well behaved puppies ever! They always sleep inside in their crate together, and never have they had an accident in their crate. They also sleep soundly through the whole night usually 10pm-7am. When outside in their yard, they love to play with their toys and play with each other. They are also the cleanest, always go potty around the perimeter of the yard or in the corners keeping their yard nice and clean, such sweet and smart babies!!
They have had one set of vaccinations and due for the second set 4/30. They are neutered and up to date on medical and just ready to finally GO HOME!
We LOVE these babies and it will be hard to see them go, but it‘s their time to shine!
Ideally, these babies will be adopted into homes with other dogs to keep them company.
