UPDATE: 6/3/20: This is what June’s foster family has to say about her:
"She lives with a calm, cat friendly Greyhound and loves to drink water out of a glass. She is very athletic and likes to jump up high and gets the zoomies a couple times a day.. June loves to cuddle and sleep on the bed. She always, always wants food and if your food is out, she will try to steal it! She loves playing with her toys.... especially the wand toys."
ORIGINAL BIO:
Meet June! She is a beautiful 4 year old girl who is mostly white with just a bit of gray on her head and ears. June has the most beautiful blue/green eyes that look like jewels! June was originally rescued as a kitten from the streets of Tijuana. She was then adopted out to a family, who unfortunately did not take good care of her at all and ended up dumping her at a local shelter. Fortunately, the shelter called ARWOB and we immediately came and got June back. We were sad to discover that she had never been taken to a veterinarian and had swollen lymph nodes, ulcerations in her mouth, and had been living in pain for years! We got June a much needed dental with full mouth teeth extractions(dental specialist said stomatitis) and now she is once again happy and healthy.
June loves one on one attention and although she's not a huge fan of being picked up and carried around, she will sit in your lap and purr while you pet her. June plays with her toys and especially likes wand toys and the laser pointer! She's also a great athlete and jumps right up on her kitty condo to look out the window. She prefers people to other animals but is ok around other cats and is in a foster home with a dog and she is fine around other animals once she gets used to them. June is shy at first and needs an adopter who is a real "cat person" who will let her settle in at her own pace and then show you what a love she really is. June would do best in a calm, quiet environment. She'd be fine with older, cat savvy kids who understand that she needs her space at times.
