To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Meet Mackenzie!

Mackenzie is an adorable young teen who would like nothing more than to find her forever home! Won’t you give her the love she deserves?

Mackenzie is a medium size lab who will be full grown approx 40lbs or less. She has been with the group for a few months and is fully vaccinated. However, she did contract an infectious disease called 'distemper' which she survived and she is now our adorable strong and so ready for a home 'distemper survivor'! This just means that she is now immune to the disease and luckily made it! (most distemper infected pups do not make it and sadly need to be euthanized)
Mackenzie did survive, however, she has a mild 'twitch/tic' on her forehead (please see her update/current video) it doesn't affect or hurt her nor will it have complications later. Just something adopters need to be aware and know she has.

Mackenzie is a very social and friendly teen who is crate trained and LOVES her toys and going for walks. She is also great with dogs and cats. She is now fully vaccinated and ready to find a family.
