Meet Suzu! On April 5th, this little girl and her family were rescued in the community of San Miguel near Ensenada.
A kind lady living nearby began feeding the mom and her pups at which point she began to seek help for finding them homes. Thanks to this Good Samaritan, Saru and her kids were able to maintain a healthy weight and stay healthy. The pups are just like any other pup – playful, happy, healthy and rambunctious! \
hey are now ready for adoption – they are completely UTD on all their puppy vaccines series and ready to be adopted by an adopter who KNOWS the lab and shepherd breed are a smart breed who will need training and obedience training as well as socialization. This guys are all about the same size. Sazu and Saya look the most alike. Then Sato, Sake , Sawa and Sumi are more Tan and solid color and look a lot alike.
As of 6/18: Sake has been adopted. Saya and Sazu are being fostered in separate homes in San Diego and doing VERY well.
Sazu was the submissive of the 6 pups when she was with her siblings and they would bully her so now that she is with a foster home who has other dogs (her best friends are Tiny Timmy, Bella and Oscar also ARWOB rescues looking for a home) she is coming out of her shell and is a very smart pup who learns from the other dogs all the right manners! She will need an adopter who will enroll her in obedience and socializing classes but she is great around dogs and cats and would do very well with children as she is very gentle and a little submissive. She is crate trained and ok on the leash.
Sawa, Sato and Sumi = All 3 are being fostered with their foster family in Baja, Mexico and we would like to find an adopter or foster home for all but even one foster would be great so we may seperate the siblings now that they are becoming young teenagers.
Sato is a sweetheart! very human oriented and loves to please, he is the alpha of the group and most dominant, followed by Sawa and lastly Sumi. These 3 pups would do best in a home setting with a yard as they can be a littl vocal when they are really excited and an adopter who will take puppy training seriously is a must for them to be well behaved pups. They are very loving and good around dogs and children. Have seen cats and were ok with them so not cat aggressive but they have never lived in a home with cats. They are all about 23 pounds.
