Yolo is a happy, energetic dog that enjoys going on walks or runs, and is also perfectly content lying around the house with the family. He is a good boy who can be left alone in the house without being crated and is not destructive, plus he does not dig in the yard. Yolo will go to his bed when he is told and will sit and wait for his food until you tell him it's okay to eat. On the leash, he will sit at the corner before crossing the street if you remind him, and begin to walk again when you start to walk. He is housebroken, good with cats, and older children. At home, he rarely barks unless someone knocks on the door, at which time he barks and growls. Having new people in the home is something that Yolo has a hard time with and will require some training to overcome his fear. He can also be anxious in the car and around certain dogs. His behavior is not consistent, so additional training will be required by his new owner to help Yolo become more comfortable in unfamiliar situations. An experienced dog owner with some patience to help this deserving guy get a new start would be best for Yolo.
