Meet Dolly!
Dolly is a mild tempered non reactive pup who is not fearful and never reacts scared to load noises. She likes to be alert and observe but with difficult in the leash as she is just learning leash training. She is just a calm sweetheart
This sweetie was rescued from Ensenada, Mexico when she was found roaming the streets of baja just a couple months old. She had severe mange and some sort of skin infection on her skin. Her rescuer picked her up and took he to the vet to start medical treatment. In the meantime she took her home, started puppy quarantine and started her on treatment. Its now been a couple of months and she is all healed up and recovered just ready to find her forever family.
A little about Dolly:
She is your typical young teenager at only approx. 7 months, we believe she will be in the 35-45 pound range when she is full grown. We don't have a clue of her breed. Just a cutie looking for her forever home and like all strays a super mutt! She is crate trained and really enjoys car rides and going for walks. She is your typical pup who is very playful with dogs and cats (her foster reports she adores cats!), she does love to play with toys....and shoes! so puppy proofing and keeping those shoes away are a must! ha
This friendly and social girl is available to adopt and currently fostered in Ensenada,Mexico with her original rescuer as her foster mom. If you'd like to adopt or foster this sweetheart please submit an application online for review and a volunteer will contact you to schedule a call. Once we have an approved adopter or foster we can bring her over to San Diego to meet you.
If she has not been adopted or found a foster by our next dog adoption event then she will attend and you can drive down to meet her without submitting an application first. If you meet her and would like to move forward to adopt or foster her then we will request you submit an application at that time. Meet Dolly and some of our other dogs at the Mega Dog Adoption Event Saturday 6/15/24 from 11am to 3pm at the Grossmont center in la mesa (you can find more information on our event calendar) submit applications online at ARWOB.org
