To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

UPDATE about Archer as of 10/20/23 from his foster family:

Total ham. Loves to social eat. Purrs as soon as you pick him up. Super playful but as soon as he’s done playing he wants to cuddle up on your lap or chest. Great with our cats and our husky. Perfect litter box user. Zero accidents.

ORIGINAL RESCUE STORY:

This adorable litter of kittens (3 girls 1 boy) were rescued from baja, Mexico. They were abandoned inside a carton box at the parking lot of a vet clinic when a staff thankfully found them when she was opening the clinic in the morning and they didn't have to endure heat inside the box. They were abandoned early September at only 5 weeks old. They have now been quarantined and as of 10/1 they are fostered in San Diego. Miley and Maize are fostered together in a home with a small breed senior dog whom they adore and Archer and Lana in a foster home with other adult cats and a sweet husky. All these 4 kittens are not only adorable but very sweet, social, loving and very playful. They will be sterilized late October and are unable to meet families until end of October. They will not be ready to go home until first week of November.

We will update their biographies as we receive more pictures from fosters.

They do NOT need to be adopted together but we do request a home with another feline friend. To meet them, we request a cat adoption application submitted online at ARWOB.org for review. Please, call or email us if you have not received a reply within 2-3 days of submission. If we receive your application, you will receive an automated email sent to you confirming receipt when you submit your application. We need to fully approve an application to schedule a meeting at their foster home.
