To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

We not only provide you with everything you need to take care of one of our rescues, but the experience is SO fulfilling. By placing one animal into a foster home, you allow us to save another. We are always in need of foster parents.

Meet Zsa Zsa!

UPDATE 5-18-21: Here is what Zsa Zsa's foster family has to say about her:

"Zsa Zsa is a very social girl who demands your attention because she deserves it! She loves to get hugs and pets and all the love from the humans. She loves to wrestle with her brother Zorro. They play tug of war and they chase each other around the yard when they get the zoomies. Zsa Zsa really likes to play with balls too. We are working on potty training and she is doing really well! The sky is the limit for this girl!! She would be such a loving family member."

ORIGNAL RESCUE STORY:

This litter of 6 puppies were rescued from Ensenada Mexico. They are now in San Diego and are ready to find their forever homes. They are up to date on medical and have been sterilized. These beautiful pups are great with children, dogs, and cats! We are looking for fosters or adopters and we offer foster-to-adopt trials. If you are interested in one of these cuties pies, please submit an online application at www.arwob.org right away!

The puppies will be attending our upcoming adoption event at PetSmart in Clairemont on May 15th (check our Events Calendar for more information). We recommend that you fill out an online application prior to the event to give our volunteers time to review your application.
