This handsome boy came to us with his sister, Violet, a female Siamese kitten.
They were rescued from the streets along with a mama cat (short hair torbie) who was nursing them back in March. Vince has always been thriving and Violet was a very petite and weak kitten at the beginning or rescue, but progressed. As she and her mom received more nourishment, she got stronger and now she is about a pound smaller than her brother. But, she is VERY active and playful and LOVES her bigger brother! They play and cuddle non stop together. Violet is a total tomboy at heart and her brother, Vince, is a big 'softy', gentle baby. They compliment each other and both are THE most social, loving and very playful kitts. They are both spayed and neutered now and will be ready to go home as soon as Friday 5/28. They have been fostered in a home with other dogs and cats, but not really let alone with them, just around them and we know they will be fine with other pets, with a normal introduction. Their personalities should be well matched also with a family with kids.Update: Violet has been adopted.
Vince is now in a foster home along with his buddy, Flounder.
Foster Update July, 2021: Vince is now back in a foster home with his buddy, Flounder; they became good friends when at our cat adoption center.
Vince: is more cautious, but once he makes sure it’s ok he likes to explore. He likes to cuddle, likes to be scratched and petted. If you call for him and tap on the sofa or bed, he jumps/comes to you. He jumps up and lies down right next to my little dog. If dogs bark or are too active, though, Vince runs back to his room.
Update June, 2021:
Vince is now in our cat adoption center and his very best friend, Violet, has been adopted. He is a sweetheart, affectionate, and a people pleasure, as usual, but you can tell that he is trying to adjust to life without her. he is playful, full of energy and often has the "zoomies" to the delight of the spectator! Since he is such a young kitten, we always feel that young kittens should be adopted along with another kitten or cat as a companion. He may do best with a cat that is not an "alpha" kit, but we are not sure about that. Once he is around other kits more, he may adapt well.
First, submit a cat adoption application online for review.
A volunteer will call you to finish processing your application and, if approved to adopt, we can schedule an actual meet and greet to interact with these kittos at our cat adoption center located at the PetSmart in Clairemont where the foster parent will bring them for you to meet.
Meet and greets can happen pretty quickly as long as applicants can gather all the items from our adoption check list and have them ready. ARWOB does NOT place HOLDS on rescues, so please, only submit an application to adopt if you are READY to adopt within 2-7 days of submitting the application. Typically, the same day of meet and greet (assuming interaction goes well) is the same day of adoption to avoid multiple meetings.
IF a team member doesn't contact you within 72hrs of submitting an application, please follow up with us via email or phone call, otherwise, it may be overseen.
Ideally, he would be adopted with another calm gentle kitten or feline friend. The important factor to adopt kittens is for them to be adopted either with a sibling, a friend, or into a home with other feline friends.
If you would like to meet this sweetheart, submit the adoption application online at our home page ARWOB.org ASAP!
