To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

UPDATE 4/23/20: Here is an update from Shuri's foster family::
"An amazing Cat to adopt- Shuri, or as we like to call her Nutter Butter Butter Ball. She was found on the streets of Tijuana in an abandoned litter. Currently she is 2 years old, litter trained, extremely affectionate, great with kids, spayed and vaccinated. She follows you everywhere and wants to be a part of the action. She is great about sleeping through most of the night. Overall. she has a strong personality and will make an exceptional family cat!"

UPDATE 04/20/20
Shuri's best matched adopter will be a family with NO other pets so she can be happier and best personality rather than being around other animals in the home.

Shuri is officially ARWOB's longest kitty resident as of 8/7/19
She came to Arwob in 04/2018 and we have NO IDEA WHY she is still with us. She has gone through several rotations at the cat adoption center. These are a few notes to say about shuri:

Shuri needs a foster home or adoptive home.
Very loving kitty, she enjoys being next to you and seeks being petted. She can also be very independent.
She will come find you when you are working on your desk or are in bed.
Shuri doesn't love to be picked up, but you will never notice since she likes to be with you.
Her favorite things to do are looking out the window and getting fresh air.
She loves to play with toys, but can also be mellow and just lounge around.
Shuri has a very soft coat and has the funniest 'I didn't do it face' and has very expressive eyes that just make you laugh.
Shuri does NOT like little kittens. She lives with many adult cats and some Arwob dogs. She is not BFF with any of the cats, but has no problem living with them; she can be adppted into a home with another cat or alone. She would be happy as the only pet, BUT she does seem to enjoy dogs and is always flrity with them and occasionally tries to play with them.

We are sad she is still with us as we know she is a really great cat. We just need someone to give her a chance to get to know her!
