Meet Shuri and Xoliswa!!
Meet Shuri and Xoliswa!!
Shuri and Xoliswa were both relinquished by their owners. They mentioned they got them from Craiglist when just 2 months old and were no longer able to care for them. The poor girls were terrified the day of arrival, but now that we have had them for a while, we have seen them become more comfortable and less stressed. Both kitties seek out human comlpanionship.
Xo is very social, playful, and super loving, but does not love being picked up and held right now, although she will snuggle right up next to you or on your lap. We think with time or in a different setting, she would learn to be more comfortable.
As one of our volunteers said recently: Xoliswa is a lover! She loves human attention and will rub her head against your leg and let you know how much she would like to be petted. When you are seated, she is right there with you...a sweetie. She loves to play with all kinds of toys and expecially likes to spend some time on the "scratcher lounge" (in the picture).
These two girls have had their lives change from all that they knew since they were babies and now is the time to bring an extra dose of happiness in a forever home.
Xo would be happier as an only cat and, because of this, we could really use a foster family for her so that she is not in an adoption center environment with a number of other cats.
