Meet Garfield!
Garfield was relinquished, along with Ginger, Tiger, and Candy. The four kitties came to ARWOB from a family who rescued them but were not able to immediately find homes for them. Consequently, they were living in a very small, crowded room and after a few months, the family realized it was time to ask for help. That is where ARWOB came in! Thankfully we had room to take all four of these kiddos.
Garfield is a super sweet boy and is certainly a handsome redheaded feline. He loves food and he loves to have conversations about food. :-) He is outgoing, loves to explore, and is very talkative. He always wants to be involved in whatever is going on around him and he’s very inquisitive. Garfield loves to take naps and although he is okay around other felines, he likes to be the king of love and hugs. He is a fantastic lap kitty and despite the fact that he is missing his right eye, we still see him as quite the good looking young man. As you can see, he is very photogenic! Unfortunately his eye was beyond saving when we took him in and it had to be enucleated. His left eye was saved, but it has a lesion/scar that does not cause any problems with his eyesight from that left eye. Like most one-eyed kitties, he has a blind spot. So we suggest that you approach him carefully so as not to startle him or make him scared.
Garfield would likely do well in a home with or without other kitties, as long as he has constant companionship. He is the type of guy that will really like your company!
