Meet Spooky, Midnight (the only boy in a litter of 5), Hunter, Zelda and Link!
These kittens were rescued when a feral cat was found in distress giving birth. The rescuer had to take her to have an emergency c-section! Not only that, but she ended up fostering the feral mom and babies in a crate in her home. As soon as the kittens were two months old and weaned, the mom was spayed and released and the babies stayed with their rescuer to be socialized. The kittens then transferred to an amazing sweet loving family who offered to help foster the 6 kittens (sadly only 5 survived as one kitten was sick and failed to thrive). The kittens had been living in a home with many young children.
Midnight and Hunter are currently in an adoption center in San Diego and these sweet, playful kitties are well socialized. Zelda continued to stay in the same foster home and is available for adoption. She is very sweet and loving! Spooky and Link are currently at our Clairemont cat adoption center. Spooky is a gentle soul who can be shy but loves attention. Link tends to stay away from people, but we are hopeful she will continue to be socialized and are looking for a foster family who will work with her one-on-one to help her thrive and get more exposure with people.
Link update 12/9: Link's foster mom who had her and her siblings before she came to the adoption center has this to say about her:
""I’m a beautiful female short haired tabby who enjoys playing with toy balls and mice. I’m still a bit nervous around people, so you will need to have some patience with me. I tend to be a little jumpy, but will purr for you if you are quiet and show me some love. I would blossom in a calmer home with an understanding owner who will give me some space but also persevere in teaching me love."
The adoption fee for these kittens is $100 each or $130 for two siblings. Please fill out an online adoption application right away!
