Meet Mama Ginger and her six beautiful kittens, Jujube, Bootsy, Apricot, Mango, Loquat, and Kumquat!

After being rescued, this sweet family has been living in a loving foster home until they were ready to be adopted. Their foster mom has this to say about them:

"Mama Ginger is a young mother - maybe a year old or so - and she has been an excellent mother! She is also a very friendly girl who loves to be petted and will sit in your lap. She has excellent litter box habits and uses the scratching post.  She needs to gain some weight, which she will do once she doesn't have to feed the little ones anymore. We aren't sure how she feels about other cats - she is very protective of her kittens, so it's hard to tell how she will be once she is out of "mama mode". She does not like dogs.

There are 5 orange tabby boy kittens and 1 tabby or "torbie" female. One of the tabby boys has four white socks and we call him "Bootsy". The other 4 boys, Apricot, Mango, Loquat and Kumquat, are really hard to tell apart, so we put little temporary black dots on their ears! We call the little girl Jujube. They are all healthy and happy, playful and well socialized kittens.  Apricot and Mango are just a bit more outgoing than the rest.

If you are considering adopting one of these kitttens and and do not have another cat at home, please consider adopting a sibling or another kitten as well. As with all young kittens, he/she would be much too lonely without a companion when you are not home. This way they will have another kitten to play and cuddle up with when you are not with them (not to mention growing up together), and as an added bonus, they will double your pleasure and fun as well!

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application online.
