San Diego Super Adoption Event

This multi rescue group adoption event is presented by North Park Vegan Food Popup created to help rescue dogs and cats find HELP by finding forever or foster homes. About a dozen rescue/shelters will be attending with their rescue dogs and cats looking for families to meet. Stop by and enjoying a fantastic ambiance and enjoy over 60 vendors with delicious food! It’s a WIN win for humans and animals alike. ARWOB will be present with their rescue dogs look for our Animal Rescuers Without Borders canopy and chat with us about our foster programs and adoption process. More importantly stop by to spend some Time with our doggos who would love to meet new friends and enjoy a lap or a mini walk. Parking: There’s a 6- story parking garage on 29th street and north park way. Additionally, there is free street parking nearby. Visit ARWOB.org
Meg Dog adoption Event

Looking to adopt or foster a dog? Please, take a look at our animal attendance. Its a special event. All dogs attending have a special adoption event fee of $150! All sterilized, chipped, UTD on vaccines and some depending on medical have had blood work and testing as well. If you choose to take a dog on a 'Foster to adopt' trial the special adoption fee will be honored even if you adopt 1-2 weeks post event. We highly recommend to submit applications online ASAP or no later than 48hrs prior to the adoption event for volunteers to have enough time to contact you BEFORE the event and let you know what items you need to bring to come prepared to the event if you are looking to start fostering or adopting the same day of the event. Submit an ADOPTION application if you have an intent to adopt or foster to adopt trial. Submit a foster application if the intent is SOLELY to foster with no interest to adopt. Foster to adopt trials are perfect to make sure everyone is well matched to each other. Foster to adopt trials are 1-2 weeks long. We do request a minimum of a FULL week commitment and a minimum of 3 day notice for anyone taking a dog home as an adopter, foster or foster to adopt trials to give notice if the doggo needs to come back to the group because things are not working out. However, we know these dogs personalities really well so we will help match the rescue dog to what you are looking for or help answer information if the dog you are interested in is a good potential match or not. You do not need to submit applications before the event as you can do so during the event or even after BUT it sure does help. Once you submit an adoption or foster application you do NOT need to resubmit for others. That application can be used for ANY of the available rescue dogs under our ARWOB care. However, Many of these dogs are fostered with Baja foster parents for lack of San Diego fosters so PLEASE, If you are not ready to adopt or start fostering the SAME day or the next day of the event but until the next weeks to come its completely fine but PLEASE, drive down to at least meet them in person. Submitting an application or just sending us an email helps us know there is someone possibly interested in certain rescue dogs and letting us know you may stop by to meet them. We really hope you make the time to drive down to this event because even if you don't find a match through our rescue group chances are you will through one of the other rescue groups attending.

Dog adoption event

Looking to foster or adopt a dog? This is the perfect event to stop by and meet the dogs attending. Check the attendance list to see who’s coming and jsut stop by to sit down with them or walk them around! They are all looking for forever homes and please ask us about our foster to adopt trials too! Note: dogs will NOT be able to go home the day of the event UNLESS we have pre-approved applicants who have submitted applications and gone through the process ahead of the event and all is left to do is for the applicants to stop by and meet them and see if they like to foster or adopt one of the attendees, otherwise just stop by to meet these amazing rescue dogs and if you connect with someone go home and submit the application online to start the process and once approved you can pick up your new family meme her or foster dog. Dog and Cat Adoption Event

Looking to meet our rescues? Drive on down and stop by to meet them during this adoption event. Check the animal attendance list for the dogs and cats who will be attending. Many are fostered at casa de ARWOB together so we would love to find individual fosters for them OR even better adopters! If you'd like to foster a dog or a cat OR a cat and dog together this is a perfect event to just stop by to spend some time with them and chat with us about our foster or adoption process. Same day adoptions CAN happen ONLY if we can get the approval done before the event, otherwise, our rescues can't go home the same BUT we can make it happen as soon as Sunday or in the week to follow depending on adopters/fosters availability......Find our rescues INSIDE the Bird Rock Animal Hospital clinic who are hosting this event for ARWOB while also enjoy the Bird Rock music festival which is a fantastic for the WHOLE family!! Pack Hike/Walk

Find us at Mission Bay (2195 East Mission Bay Drive parking) Looking to meet some of our rescue dogs who are available to foster or adopt? Perfect! You can either contact us to sign up and be part of the walk OR just stop by at the end of the walk to meet them. The Pack walk starts promptly at 930am and is finished by 1030am. The ARWOB team will leave location around 1045am so please make sure you if you don't want to miss the dogs to be at location by 1030am....or 915am if you are planning on joining the dogs on a walk. You can bring the whole family and your family dog as long as dog friendly on leash. See you then!

Looking for a fun healthy Saturday morning class? How about puppy yoga! Portion of the class fee is donated to ARWOB thanks to our frinds at Spirti Yoga :) Visit https://www.spirityogaandbarre.com/ To meet the dogs attending you do NOT need to sign up if yoga is not your cup of tea but can text or call us at 619 977 3593 to let us know you are planning on stopping by to meet them. The class is over at 12:15pm and you can stop by then to meet the dogs. We do leave the site by 12:45pm so please make sure to be at location by 1230pm or text us you are coming down so you don't miss us. Otherwise you are welcome to submit application onlines or email us to schedule meet and greets.

Looking to meet ANY of the adorable faces who are listed as attending? Then please, come on down to meet them in person. We will have 8-12 dogs present. They are all healthy and vetted. We are NOT in a rush to send our dogs home during the event, we prefer to have families come down and meet them and spend time with them. If you'd like to foster or even better adopt one or two of our sweethearts then you can submit an application online to start the process. Please, DO NOT inquire about adopting from our group if you can't provide landlord approval OR object to home checks. The primary purpose of this event is to have several of our rescues attend and be available for potential interested applicants meet them. If you find someone you are interested in you could adopt the same day or within the week, this is NO RUSH event. So, if you are NOT ready to adopt this weekend but will be in the next week or two then this is the event you want to attend to at least MEET them without pressure. Know someone looking to adopt or foster a dog? Send them our way! even if you do not find a match with ARWOB you are bound to find a great match with the hundreths of other rescue dogs attending wtih other rescues/shelters during this MEGA event. Please, make sure you check the animal attendance again the morning of the event to make sure the dog you are interested is attending. IMPORTANT NOTE: If you can't make the event and would like to meet someone in particular ahead of time we can schedule meets for Friday afternoon BUT we need applications submitted online before Thursday night to have plenty of time to contact you.
