To make the most out of your time, we suggest you SUBMIT an adoption APPLICATION BEFORE an adoption event.

Check the animal attendance the morning before the event to confirm attendance of a particular rescue. In addition, please check the up-to-date animals attendance list 1 HOUR BEFORE an event to know if the dog or cat you want to meet is still attending.

Also remember to review important event information BEFORE attending.

Canelo

We adopted Canelo (now known as Jessie), a Belgian Malinois, in June of 2012. Jessie is the calmest, sweetest, most thoughtful person I know. He is especially gentle with even the smallest children and animals. He gets lots of chewies and treats, goes for walks 2-3 times a day, and his favorite thing is going for a daily ride in âhisâ Jeep. He smiles so hard, his lips curl back at the edges. His best friends are Dusty, our cool cat, and Ben, a former Starving Street Stray terrier mix we found wandering the streets. They play constantly, and are inseparable.
